The "Ichigami Festival" is a festival dedicated to the guardian deity of the Gojome Morning Market, "Ichigami (Oichibime no Kami)", boasting a tradition of 520 years. It involves erecting an octagonal column inscribed with "Ichigami" at the market's origin, offering mikoshi (portable shrine) dedications, taiko drum performances, and sumo tournaments held at Koseiji Temple. Numerous traditional events are held. Additionally, there are stalls offering local delicacies such as "Damako Soba", "Damako Nabe", "Miso tsuke Tanpo", and "Oga Yakisoba".
