The "Ichigami Festival" is a festival dedicated to the guardian deity of the Gojome morning market, "Ichigami (Oichi Hime no Kami)", boasting a 520-year tradition. An octagonal pillar inscribed with "Ichigami" is erected at the birthplace of the morning market, accompanied by offerings of portable shrines, taiko performances, and sumo tournaments held at Koseiji. Numerous traditional events are held. Furthermore, food stalls offering "Damakosoba", "Damako-nabe", "Miso tsuke Tanpo", and "Oga Yakisoba" are available, allowing visitors to enjoy local gourmet dishes. Please consider visiting.
