出雲崎大祭
The Izumozaki Grand Festival is held annually on June 17th in the coastal area of Izumozaki Town, Niigata Prefecture. This shrine, where the Ryokan family Tachibanaya has served as priests for generations, began this festival around 300 years ago in Genroku 3, as a traditional grand festival to pray for maritime safety. The parade combines the splendor of ancient daimyo processions with ritual ceremonials, making it both magnificent and resplendent.
