Minazuki Festival is the summer festival of the five towns (Satoma, Sonrichi, Shinobi, Odaya, and Higashiyama) in the Minamishimi area, and is a midsummer Shinto ritual where kiriko lanterns and mikoshi (portable shrines) are vigorously and dynamically paraded.
