A traditional fireworks festival that has continued since the Taisho era. It is an event with a long history and solid reputation, ranking among the top three in the prefecture. The vividly colored fireworks launched in rapid succession from platform boats floating on the Onga River, which flows into Hibikinada, bloom one after another like large flowers on the canvas of the night sky. The large fireworks and underwater fireworks are especially impressive. Another highlight is the 250-meter-long Niagara Falls display spanning both banks of the Onga River.
