Yasaka Shrine Summer Festival (Shūzu Gion)
八坂神社夏まつり（秀津祇園）
With a history of about 400 years, the Hiden Gion is known as one of the three major Gion festivals of Hizen. Locally, it is fondly called "Hiiden Gion." Magnificent festival floats parade through the streets, enlivening the festival. In addition, events and stalls are prepared in the local Hiden Shopping Street and Sakaemachi Shopping Street.
