This is a festival to pray for the repose of the 630 precious souls who lost their lives in the Isahaya flood disaster on July 25, 1957. The collaboration of three kinds of lights — 19,000 lanterns floating on the Honmyo River, fireworks lighting up the night sky, and the illumination of Megane Bridge — creates a magical atmosphere.
