Kujū Flower Park 'Livingstone Daisies' in Full Bloom!
くじゅう花公園「リビングストンデイジー」満開!
At Kujū Flower Park in Taketa City, Ōita Prefecture, the park's largest flower field, "Highland Colors," features around 70,000 Livingstone daisies spread over 7,000 square meters, reaching their peak viewing season throughout May.
Livingstone daisies respond to morning light, slowly blooming, and as they bask in the sun, their petals shimmer like veils woven from light. Pinks, oranges, yellows, and whites form a vibrant palette of flowers blooming under the guidance of sunlight, vividly coloring the slopes of the highland.
The "Highland Colors," where these flowers bloom, is a gentle hill with the Kujū mountain range as a backdrop. On sunny days, petals fluttering in the wind rise as grains of light, inviting visitors into a magical landscape. It is truly a scene of spring magic created by "light flowers" awakened by sunlight.
The scenery created by Livingstone daisies is a special scene limited to May. Enjoy a moment of sparkling beauty that remains in photos and memories at Kujū Flower Park.
*Due to the nature of the flowers, blooming occurs only during sunny days.
