The Kamo Sō Flower and Bird Garden, where you can enjoy colorful flowers throughout the year, is hosting the "Iris & Hydrangea Season 2025" this year as well. As of May 11th (Sun), the blooming is progressing slowly, with approximately 20% of the irises and hydrangeas in the greenhouse in bloom. 

Since 1992, the garden has been continuously improving hydrangeas, allowing visitors to see a variety of hydrangeas rarely seen elsewhere. This year, the iris garden is scheduled for a mid-term closure. Don't miss this opportunity.

At the store, in addition to the yellow rice "Shoya Bamboo Basket Bento" and the "Hyōka Rice Ball Bento," "Kamo Selection" hydrangea seedlings are also available for sale.

Moreover, the iris garden features the historic mansion "Kamo Sō," known as filming sites for the anime "Hyoka" and various movies, with a history of about 250 years. Please be sure to visit the Kamo Sō Flower and Bird Garden.
