A traditional event that heralds the arrival of summer in Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City. Within the Ekimae Ginza Arcade, colorful Tanabata decorations created by shops and local citizen groups are displayed. These creative decorations beautifully adorn the shopping street, and during the event period, numerous lively street stalls line the arcade. A wide variety of stage events, stamp rallies, and activities at places like the Shizuoka City Children's Creative Town are also planned. Tables for dining are provided at the venue as well.
