A traditional festival with a history dating back hundreds of years. Various events such as portable shrines, children's portable shrines, Akashi Mantou lanterns, Nivaka (improvised performance), and Minyo Nagashi (folk music parade) will take place. The portable shrine is a rare octagonal shrine, famously known as the 'rough shrine', and the festival reaches its climax during the final day's encircling of the shrine.
