The Yaegagaku Festival, which is said to have a deep connection with the Gagaku Festival of Itsukushima Shrine since ancient times, will once again enliven the summer in Kitahiroshima Town this year. The sight of the three land-based boats Shinchimaru, Tokaichimaru, and Aritamaru parading energetically through the Yaegagaku shopping street is truly a spectacle to behold.
