Great Catch Prayer Festival & Empress Parade

On 'Marine Day', one of the national holidays, the "Great Catch Prayer Festival" and "Empress Parade" will be held in Ōma. Empress refers to the sea goddess (Mazu) worshipped in coastal regions across Southeast Asia. This festival is rare nationwide, being performed only in Ōma in the Tohoku region.
To be held on Marine Day, July 21, 2025, around the Ōma Inari Shrine and Ōma waters.
