【Photographer Ritsuko Nishizawa Introduction】
Born in Chiba in 1965 and raised in Nagasaki.
She moved to Canada, charmed by the country during a training stay in her 18th year as a junior high school teacher.
She began her career as a photographer and writer at the age of 42.
After living in Canada for 5 years, she photographs the world based from her hometown, Nagasaki.
Authored "Towards the Light" (Shogakukan)
and Scandinavian photo essay "me time" (Iroha Publishing) among others.
Held photography exhibitions at Ginza Mitsukoshi, Huis Ten Bosch Art Museum, etc.
