The "Rumoi Nontou Festival" expresses the spirit of the fishermen who supported the herring industry, embodying the attitude of "swallowing everything, whether storms or tempests." Following the port boat consolation event, the eve festival features gourmet food stalls, stage events, and attractions at the venue. On the following day, the festival reaches its peak with the "Yanshu Andon," where parades of more than a dozen large and small lantern floats and Haneto dancers whirl around in a frenzy.
