Originating from the Ainu people's traditional ceremony of sending the Blakiston's fish owl to the land of the gods, this festival features mystical performances such as drumming and traditional Ainu dances. The powerful fireworks display, called the "Feast of Fire," launched in the canyon, offers an experience you won't find anywhere else.
