Akashi City is known as the 'City of Time' because the 135th meridian east, the Japan Standard Time meridian, passes through it.
On Tuesday, June 10 (Time Memorial Day), and Sunday, June 15 (Main Day), commemorative certificates for crossing the meridian will be distributed to widely promote 'Akashi, the City of Time.'
*Distribution of commemorative certificates will end when supplies run out.
On Sunday, June 15 (Main Day), a variety of events will be held, including a performance by the Teppo Team. In addition, on Saturday, June 14, as a pre-festival to Time Week, there will be a fair and a small fireworks show.
