Ashikaga Fireworks Festival
足利花火大会
This is a prestigious and traditional event that was first held in 1903 (Meiji 36). Featuring simultaneous launches of large shells, wide starmine displays, and creative fireworks, around 20,000 fireworks make this one of the largest events in the Kanto region. The climax, a breathtaking showdown between the Grand Niagara and the Grand Starmine displays, is truly spectacular.
