Sanuki Mannō National Park Hydrangea Festival
国営讃岐まんのう公園 あじさいまつり
At Sanuki Mannou Park, a national park boasting the largest display in Shikoku with around 20,000 hydrangeas of about 40 varieties, a variety of enjoyable events are held during the rainy season to celebrate the hydrangea's peak bloom.
In the "Hydrangea Garden" inside the park, various types of hydrangeas—such as mountain hydrangeas, lacecap hydrangeas, and western hydrangeas—are planted, offering a rich diversity in color and form. The three-dimensional flower fields, featuring elevation changes, are designed with accessibility in mind, equipped with stairs and slopes so that visitors in wheelchairs or with strollers can also enjoy a stroll.
The hydrangeas start blooming in early June and are expected to be at their best in mid-June. Don't miss experiencing the largest hydrangea display in Shikoku.
