The Sand Craft Festival is a major summer event representing Mitane Town. Sand sculptures created using special techniques are displayed as unique and captivating works of art, enchanting all who see them. Art made from sand. During the event period, various activities such as the Sand Sculpture Contest, Sand Sculpture Koshien, sand sculpture creation experiences, and swimwear contests are held. At sunset, fireworks are launched with the illuminated sand sculptures in the background. Kamayahama Beach has been selected as one of the "Top 100 Excellent Beaches in Japan."
