Dengaku and Lion Dance Dedicatory Performance. Established at the end of the Heian period, the dengaku and furyu performed during the festival of the Mihouden Kumano Shrine, which was the main guardian shrine of the Kikuta Manor, are surviving examples of ceremonies that became popular all over Japan during the Kamakura period.
