Soka Morning Glory Market
草加朝顔市
It is held every year on the Soka Matsubara promenade and has become an early summer tradition in Soka City.
Morning glories carefully cultivated by horticulturists in the city are sold for 2,000 yen (tax included) per pot.
The Soka Sawayaka-san, dressed in yukata, also participate and assist customers in choosing their morning glories as sales staff.
Please note that the morning glories are limited to 700 pots. Please make your purchase as soon as possible.
