On the first day of the summer festival, during the "Mikoshi Procession," the adult Mikoshi is carried lively through the streets of Kazo, accompanied by the energetic shouts of "Seiya, Seiya." On the second day, each neighborhood association parades their festival floats through the town. The biggest highlight of the summer festival, "Hikkase," features an exciting drum performance by the local taiko drum groups, showcasing the traditional art of "Bushu Kazo Bayashi."
