Urawa Yosakoi

浦和よさこい
There has long been a tradition of moon-waiting faith in Urawa. This faith involves gathering at night. Similarly, the authentic Kochi Yosakoi is called "Yosakoi" (which means "come at night"), and it also has the meaning of gathering at night. In Urawa as well, the Urawa Yosakoi Festival is held to bring happiness to residents, visitors, and all those connected to this area. The festivities include the Yosakoi Parade, the Urawa Dance, a music parade, portable shrines (mikoshi) for both children and adults, and many other events. Please join us and enjoy the Yosakoi for yourself. Venue: East-West Front Streets of JR Minami-Urawa Station Annual Spectators: 1,000 people or more
