This is the largest and most traditional festival in the Toide area. Four hundred Tanabata decorations form a "Tanabata Tunnel," creating a colorful arch along the main street of the shopping district. Events such as brass band performances and kids' dances are held at venues like the Toide Community Center. At night, lanterns are lit, creating a magical and fantastical atmosphere.
