Noburi — Samurai Noburi at Yamatsu Teru Shrine

奴振り—山津照神社の武家奴振り

Noburui is a traditional event held every spring as a festival at Yamatsu Teru Shrine. This event reenacts the appearance of the attendants traveling in samurai attire during the dedication of prayer plaques to the Kyoto Imperial Palace, a practice that continued from the Edo period to the beginning of the Meiji era. Revived after the war, it is still carried on today in the area of Notose, Maibara City.
