Sanrio Exhibition: 60 Years of Japanese Kawaii Culture

サンリオ展 ーニッポンのカワイイ文化60年史ー

Sanrio Co., Ltd. has created numerous popular characters to date. Including Hello Kitty, the company has introduced over 450 characters to the world. This exhibition, marking the first large-scale event of its kind in this prefecture, traces Sanrio's history spanning over 60 years. It brings together valuable materials such as merchandise and design sketches. Delving into the enduring appeal of characters loved across generations, the exhibition also explores the "Kawaii" culture, which has now become a global language.

- Trace over 60 years of Sanrio's history and explore the birth secrets and growth processes of over 450 characters, presented alongside valuable original drawings, related materials, and nostalgic merchandise. - Exhibits also feature collaborative works with contemporary artists, allowing you to enjoy new expressions of "Kawaii" inspired by Sanrio characters. - Every Thursday during the exhibition period, we will hold the "Let's Go to the Museum with Your Baby!" event, where all visitors accompanied by a baby can enter at the advance ticket price.
