Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the "Yokohama Marathon" features a course running along the beautiful waterfront areas such as Minato Mirai, and even includes highways. This course is popular with a wide range of age groups both in Japan and abroad. With excellent access—only 30 minutes from Tokyo International Airport (Haneda)—it is one of Yokohama's major events, attracting over 20,000 runners every year.
