The Setsubun Yoroi Toshikoshi is a traditional Setsubun event held in Ashikaga, where locals dress in Bando warrior costumes, vividly reenacting history. The highlight of this event is a grand parade involving around 200 participants wearing armor, playing conch shells and war drums. The procession starts from Orihime Community Center and takes about an hour to cover the 1.3 kilometers to Bannaji Temple, reminiscent of watching a historical scroll.
