Sakai Oouo Night Market is a fish market and festival held every year at the end of July at Ohama Park in Sakai-ku, Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture. Said to have started in the Kamakura period, it boasts a history of about 700 years and is known as a traditional summer event in Sakai. The biggest highlight is the dynamic fish auction held at night. In addition, there are night stalls and PR booths from local companies, making it a historical festival closely connected with the local community.
