The origin of the Fukaya Festival dates back to the "Yasaka Festival," which began over 300 years ago when the Sansha Tenno, originally enshrined at Fukaya Castle, was relocated and worshipped during the Tenna era. The main attractions of the festival are the mikoshi parade, the float and stall parades, along with a wide variety of events.
