The traditional event representing Omuta, the "Omuta 'Oodajayama' Festival," will be held over the course of approximately one week. The festival features floats in the shape of giant serpents, about 10 meters long and 5 meters wide, parading around the area while burning smoke and fire. Kicking off with the "Port Festival," the event continues with "Promotion Events" and "Cultural Hall Events." The climax of the festival unfolds over two days as the giant serpent floats parade through the town for the "Taisho Town Festival Square Events." The entire town is enveloped in the festive spirit.
