The summer festival for the veneration of Dainichi Nyorai (an Important Cultural Property) is held every year on July 15th. Stalls line the streets and people from the surrounding areas visit, making it lively. The Dainichi Hall and the seated statue of Dainichi Nyorai were created in the mid-15th century and are designated as Important Cultural Properties of the nation. While a reservation is required for viewing, on the anniversary of Dainichi Nyorai's death, July 15th, the approximately 2-meter-tall seated statue is open to the public.
