Please join the enchanting Mount Kugami Nature Walk event. Here, you can explore the precious lowland beech forests that are designated as natural monuments by the prefecture. Knowledgeable nature guides will accompany you, helping you discover and appreciate the unique ecosystems in this tranquil satoyama landscape, while you enjoy a leisurely walk. The walk takes place in Niigata Prefecture, starts in the morning, and lasts for two and a half hours.
Participants can explore the unique ecological features and rare plants thriving in this unusual habitat. Under the guidance of experts, you will learn about the region's unique biodiversity and build a deeper connection with nature. Highlights include observing rare plant species and experiencing the serenity of the forest environment.
As the number of participants is limited, this is a special experience that is recommended to be reserved in advance. Each tour has a maximum number of people to ensure a personal and intimate exploration. The event will proceed regardless of the weather (except in severe weather), so participants are advised to wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather.
