This is a traditional event held on the final day of the Yasaka Shrine Gion Festival. On top of a 14-meter-tall pole, a performer dressed as a tree frog displays acrobatic feats. The spectators, captivated by the skillful performance, erupt into loud cheers that echo through the night sky.
