This is the largest festival in the Yasato area, held to commemorate the day during the Kyōroku era when the lord of Kakioka Castle transferred the divine spirit from Naka District to Yasaka Shrine. On the streets of the Kakioka shopping district, floats and sasara parades are held. The one-lion dance, handed down at Suwa Shrine, and sometimes, though irregularly, mechanical dolls are also showcased.
