An esteemed festival with a long history dating back to the early Edo period. In a corner of the grounds of Yaegaki Shrine, a sacred rope is put up to create the festival site. People bring fresh bamboo, burn it, and pray for bountiful harvests, prosperous business, and good health. Talismans are distributed to the early arrivals.
