One of Japan’s leading "Tanabata Festivals" heralds the arrival of summer in Shonan. The main venues are "Shonan Star Mall" and "Beniyasu Pearl Road" at the north exit of Hiratsuka Station, where the shopping street is filled with splendid and gorgeous decorations. From large displays to those reflecting current trends, there are plenty of highlights to enjoy. At night, some of the decorations are lit up, creating a magical atmosphere. The "Shonan Hiratsuka Orihime" selected in the "Orihime Selection" also makes an appearance.
