The autumn leaves at the famous temples scattered throughout Konan City, Shiga Prefecture—Zensuiji, Choujuji, and Jourakuji—are reaching their peak viewing season. *Please note that the main hall of Zensuiji is undergoing roof renovations until the end of January 2026. Viewing of Buddhist statues is still possible. Please take a look at the wonderful group of Buddhist statues that have been preserved since the Heian period.*
