The Nagahama Shrine Summer Grand Festival begins with the parade of the local children's portable shrine on the 5th.
From the 5th to the 7th, the streets will be bustling with many people as the mikoshi and lion dance processions, kagura performances, and nearly 100 food stalls line up.
During the festival period only, the famous lucky charm "Omika Mochi" will also be on sale.
