Saitou Dai Goma

The "Goma-san" Goma ritual, cherished for praying for family safety, good harvest, and abundant fishing, attracts more than 50,000 worshippers and is one of Japan's three major Goma rituals. This year, seven Goma rituals will be held. Additionally, Seigiji, officially known as Kyououzan Jinguuji Houkongouin, is a Shingon sect temple said to have been founded by Gyoki on Emperor Shomu's decree during the Tenpyo era (729–749).
Open-air stalls usually start selling around 2 PM as in previous years.
