Saikusa Festival (Lily Festival)
三枝祭（ゆりまつり）
The Saikusa Festival has been designated as a national festival in the 'Taiho Code' established during the Taibo era 1 (701) under Emperor Monmu. It's a prestigious festival held to pray for the pacification of epidemics alongside the Chinwa Festival at the Omiwa Shrine. The Saikusa Festival (Lily Festival) starts at 10:30, with the procession of the Seven Maidens and children beginning at 13:15.
