- The “Dontaku Parade,” set along approximately 1.2 km of Meiji Street, features around 200 groups parading in vibrant costumes while rhythmically striking rice paddles, and with participants from both Japan and abroad, it’s a richly international event. - At over 40 performance stages set up across the city, local schools, dance teams, traditional performing arts, idol live shows, and many other diverse performances entertain the audience. - In the festival’s grand finale, the “General Dance,” spectators can join in on the spot, dancing together to liven up the end of the event.
