This is a festival honoring the Koyasu Enmei Jizo, a large stone Buddha enshrined about 170 years ago. The massive statue, standing 2.88 meters tall with a 1.1-meter seat and a lotus pedestal circumference of 7 meters, is cherished by citizens as a symbol for wishing children's healthy growth due to its depiction cradling a child. At the festival held every August, participants recite the 'Hyakumanben Nembutsu' prayer, wishing for the health and happiness of their loved ones.
