As the "Summer Grand Festival" of Kanda Suga Shrine, events such as mikoshi processions through the town and a pedestrian paradise event on the station-front street at night are held on the "Departure of Deity" on the 3rd Sunday of July and the "Return of Deity" on the 4th Sunday of July. On the "Midday" on the 3rd Wednesday of July, events such as the Mandō Mikoshi Procession, a children's mikoshi parade, a flea market, and a charity beer garden take place.
